Men. 1, 3, 17.— The wife of Acastus, king of Magnesia, who conceived a passion for Peleus, and, because she met with no return of affection from him, accused him to her husband of an attempt upon her virtue, Hyg. Fab. 14 med.; Hor. C. 3, 7, 18.
