ălŏgus, a, um, adj., = ἄλογος. In gen., destitute of reason, irrational: animalia, Aug. Ep. 86.— Esp. In math.: aloga linea, one that does not correspond with another, Capitol. 6 fin.— In verse: alogus pes, irregular, which corresponds with no kind of measure, Capitol. 9, p. 329.
