glaucōma, ătis, n. (also glaucū-ma, ae, f., Plaut. Mil. 2, 1, 70 Ritschl, N. cr.), = γλαύκωμα, an obscuration of the crystalline lens, a cataract, Plin. 29, 6, 38, § 117 al.; Prud. Ham. 90.—Comically: alicui glaucumam ob oculos obicere, qs. to throw dust in his eyes, Plaut. Mil. 2, 1, 70.
