fullōnĭus, a, um, adj. id., of or belonging to fullers. Adj.: ars, the art of fulling, Plin. 7, 56, 57, § 196: creta, fuller's earth, id. 17, 8, 4, § 46: aenae, id. 24, 13, 68, § 111: saltus, a jumping in fulling, Sen. Ep. 15.—Comically: nisi lenoni munus hodie misero, Cras mihi potandus fructus (perh. fucus) est fullonius, to-morrow I must swallow ink (acc. to others, must let myself be stamped upon), Plaut.
