Frūtis, is (Etrusc. form Fruti; v. in the foll.), f. an Etruscan modification of the Gr. Ἀφροδίτη, an Etruscan name of Venus: Veneri matri, quae Frutis dicitur, Sol. 2, 14.—Hence: Frutinal, ālis, n.: templum Veneris Fruti, Paul. ex Fest. p. 90 Müll.
