aequĭlībrĭtas, ātis, f. aequilibris (a word coined by Cic. as a transl. of the Epicurean ισονομία), the equal distribution of the powers of nature: confugis ad aequilibritatem; sic enim ἰσνομίαν, si placet, appellemus, Cic. N. D. 1, 39, 109 (cf. id. ib. 19, 50, 1: ἰσονομίαν appellat Epicurus, id est, aequabilem tributionem)
