C. 1, 15 sq.; Luc. 2, 478 al.— Hence,  Corfīnĭensis, e, adj., of or pertaining to Corfinium: clementia, i. e. exercised by Cæsar at this city, Cic. Att. 9, 16, 1; cf. exspectatio, i. e. of occurrences there, id. ib. 8, 5, 2.—In plur.: Corfīnĭenses, ium, m., the inhabitants of Corfinium, Plin. 3, 12, 17, § 106.— Corfīnĭus, a, um, adj., of Corfinium: ager, Front.
