Ἑκάλειος
Ἑκάλειος Ζεύς [ᾰ], from Ἑκάλη, a lady who entertained Theseus, and for this received at Athens the yearly honour of the Ἑκαλήσια [ ἱερά]: hence the epith. was given to Zeus as worshipped on the same day, Plu. Thes. 14.
