Pf. associated with pres. ἔθω by grammarians. εἴωθα Il. 5.766, etc., Ep. and Ion. ἔωθα 8.408, etc., is used as pres.; plpf. εἰώθειν, Ion. ἐώθεα, as impf.; part. εἰωθώς, Ion. ἐωθώς, also in Archipp. 48, Araros 19; Dor. 3 pl. pf. ἐθώκατι Hsch.: mostly c. inf., Il. 5.766, Hdt. 3.31, Th. 1.99, etc.: impers., ὡς εἴωθε as is the custom, Ar. Ec. 282; ὥσπερ εἰώθει Plu. Sull. 9, etc.: freq. abs. in part., of persons, accustomed, customary, usual, ἡνιόχῳ εἰωθότι Il. 5.231; ὑμῖν . . τοῖς εἰώθοσιν who are used [to hear me], S. Ph. 939; οὐκ ἐωθώς praeter morem, Hdt. 1.111; of things, τὰ ἐωθότα νοήματα Id. 3.80; ἐν τῷ εἰ. τρόπῳ Pl.
