  "definition": "τέκμωρ τό. 1 An end or limit : εἰς ὅ κε τ. Ἰλίου εὕρωσιν (εὕρωμεν) (till they (we) find out the limit set for it by fate, i. e. witness its end) Il. 7.30, Il. 9.48. So ἐπεὶ οὐκέτι δήετε τ. Ἰλίου (it is not your lot to witness its end) Il. 9.418 = 685. 2 A bringing to a conclusion or end, a conclusion or end : τοῖο εὕρετο τέκμωρ (i. e. found a remedy for this state of things, this confusion) Il. 16.472 : οὐδέ τι τέκμωρ εὑρέμεναι δύνασαι (δύναμαι) (any end to the business) Od. 4.373, 466. 3 One's goal : ἵκετο τ., αἰγάς Il. 13.20. 4 A sign or token : κεφαλῇ κατανεύσομαι· τοῦτο γὰρ ἐξ ἐμέθεν γε μέγιστον τ. [γίγνεται] Il. 1.526.",
