οἴχομαι οἰχήσομαι, pres. with pf. meaning (cp. ἥκω), have gone, be gone, often with ptc. of manner, as οἴχονται διώκοντες, they were gone in pursuit, the ptc. frequently contains the main idea, as ᾧχετο ἀπελαύνων, he rode away; be missing, be dead (cp. the Eng. euphemism ‘pass away’).
