δέμνια τά [δέμω.] A bedstead, a bed. (In Il. 24.644 two beds are referred to. See 648. So perh. also in Od. 4.297, 301; but from Od. 15.45 it would rather appear that Telemachus and Peisistratus were then sleeping together): δέμνιʼ ὑπʼ αἰθούσῃ θέμεναι Il. 24.644: = Od. 4.297 = Od. 7.336, δέμνια κούρης Od. 6.20.
