ἐνιαυτός -οῦ, ὁ [prob. the time when the heavens are again ἐνὶ αὐτῷ, in the same position, and thus properly rather an epoch than a period.] A year. 1 Considered as a point or unit of time or as one of a series: ἐννέα βεβάασιν Il. 2.134, δεκάτῳ Il. 12.15 (at the tenth turn of the year, at the end of the tenth year).
