πυκνός

ἀχεύω

ἀχεύω [ἄχος.] To be grieved or troubled, grieve, sorrow. Only in pres. pple.: θυμὸν ἀχεύων (in his heart) Il. 5.869, Il. 18.461, Il. 23.566. Cf. Il. 9.612, Il. 24.128: Od. 2.23, Od. 4.100, Od. 11.88, Od. 21.318. With genit. of person grieved for: ἄνακτος Od. 14.40. Cf. Od. 16.139.
