τεχνάομαι [τέχνη.] 1 To make, fashion: εὖ τεχνήσατο καὶ ἱστία Od. 5.259, μὴ τεχνησάμενος μηδʼ ἄλλο τι τεχνήσαιτο Od. 11.613 (app., would that he had never made it, and (having made it) may he never make another of the same (i.e. so terrible) (see under μή (10))). 2 To contrive, devise: ταῦτʼ αὐτὸς τεχνήσομαι Il. 23.415.
